Lipina enjoys the most idylic setting in the Protected Environmental Area Bílé Karpaty in Moravia, which is the eastern part of the Czech Republic. Our horse riding school is located about 4km (2.5 miles) from Valašské Klobouky, between two villages Lipina and Křekov (view map).

The camp starts every week on Sunday and ends on Saturday.
Accommodation and meals:
Simple accommodation is ready in the farm. You will need your own sleeping bag. We cook our own home food and meals are served four times a day.
Arrival and departure:
Arrival is set on the first day of the camp (Sunday) between 10-11 a.m. The camp ends next Saturday between 9-10 a.m. We do not provide individual transport to the camp but individual arrival times can be arranged.
Insurance:
We cover basic insurance, however, individual accident insurance is recommended.
Agenda:
A detailed agenda is prepared for every day, including morning care for horses, feeding, cleaning the stables and horse riding before lunch. After lunch, children go swimming, play games and we organize trips and games in the nearby surroundings. Later, there are afternoon horse riding lessons, followed by evening horse care. In the evening, we can make camp fire or play a night game. Every year there is a theme for the camp.
Our horses:
Children ride our calm and experienced horses. Our horses are mostly Czech Warmblood (see wiki), Thoroughbred, Haflinger and Hucul (Carpathian). We also have a few ponies for small children. All horses are regularly ridden by us to keep them in excellent riding condition.
What you need:
For a safe experience, you need to take with you:
Solid, enclosed shoes without heel. Sandals and other types of open shoes do not provide enough feet protection.
Boots for rain and mud.
Rain-proof clothes, or at least a rain-proof jacket. Raincoat is a must – an umbrella is rather inconvenient when riding 🙂
Long cotton elastic trousers made from solid cloth. Riding in short trousers can lead to painful bruises from scratching your legs against the leather saddle.
Don’t forget a SLEEPING BAG, pillow and swimming suit.
If you have your own riding equipment (helmet, …), take it with you. We also have enough equipment for everyone to borrow for free.
Anything you might need for a camp: cosmetics, enough clothes and shoes for a change, a cap or something to cover your head in warm days (important), etc.
Language:
The official language of the camp is Czech, but we are fortunate to have enough English-speaking instructors. Please, before submitting an application, contact us to make sure there will be an English instructor available in the camp you selected.
